History

Newport Aviation co-owned and run by Heather Corson lifted off in 2003 filling the void for a flight school in the area. Daughter of Chris Drago owner and head mechanic of Chris Air, Heather has learned the aviation world from the ground up applying her experience in developing the strongest and most qualified part 61 flight school in the northeast.

Newport Aviation has three planes available and multiple instructors with military and commercial experience. The induction of the new Elite flight simulator in 2007 has made Newport Aviation a great place to begin or continue your flying career.
